Stitchery and embroidery are my passion and I know that I share this passion with so many others who find solace, peace and joy in the stitching. This website is just one way of sharing my simple embroideries and stitcheries of romantic cottages, the female form and children.
I find inspiration from flowers in my own wild garden, from children and their worlds of fairies and dolls, goblins and toy soldiers. My influences are the Arts and Crafts movement and the Belle Époque.
Drawing for embroidery has its own set of challenges. Here you will find roses, flowers and fairies, forget me nots, cottages and crinoline ladies. Patterns and Iron-on-transfers for hand embroidered stitchery quilts and cushions, buttons, table runners, pillows and embroidered boxes.
You can purchase any of the patterns online from the site but I would like to encourage you to visit the stockist’s page first and perhaps ask your local retailer to stock some of the patterns.
This is a good way of supporting your local stitchery community.
I do realise however that many stitchers are a long way from shops who can stock the patterns, hence the website,
Downloads of patterns can be purchased and free downloads too.
Happy stitching! Brenda.
